Maureen is a seasoned instructor with Broadway Babies and is continually delighted to combine her love for music with her love for children. She created and developed the performance-based singing class for the program and also offers private voice lessons. Maureen sings with Alphadog and other bands who frequent Manhattan's pop circuit. She launched her singer/songwriter show in 2007 and is currently recording her debut solo album featuring drummer husband Joe Kross. Maureen earned her degree in Musical Theatre from the University of Northern Colorado, and performed for two years as the lead singer aboard Holland America Cruise Line, touring Northern Europe, the Eastern seaboard, the Caribbean, Mexico and Hawaii. Regionally she has appeared at the Goodspeed Opera House in The Baker's Wife, and in the workshop premier of Fishwrap at the Adirondack Theatre Festival. Other favorite roles include Kate in Titanic (Maine State Music Theatre); Peggy O'Neil in The Pond Beyond the Meadow (workshop at The New Rose Theatre); Lori Ann in Have a Nice Day (Theatre Barn); and Lola in Patty Columbo's Copa Cabana.
