Shaina Taub hails from Waitsfield, Vermont and is currently pursuing a BFA in musical theater at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts CAP 21 conservatory. She has spent her life so far being on stage. Musical theater is her passion; she has performed in over forty theatrical productions in seven states including regional, professional, school, community and youth productions. Her favorite roles include Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde, Anita in West Side Story, the Leading Player in Pippin, and the title role in Rob Kapilow's Gertrude McFuzz, which she performed at the Kennedy Center. She has taken dance for thirteen years, studied voice and acting privately, and has performed for eight summers at Stagedoor Manor. She has studied classical and jazz piano for ten years, as well as guitar for three years, and as worked as a theatrical accompanist, arranger and musical director. She won the All-State Scholarship Award in classical voice and jazz singing as well as a National ARTS Award in Musical Theater. She is so excited to work for Broadway Babies, spreading what she loves to kids.
