Film Festival Class (Fall 2019)
Ages: 6th-10th Grade
This advanced on-camera class is for the student who is eager to take the filmmaking process to the professional level. Throughout the semester, students will brainstorm scripts and have an immersive, hands-on experience. All class members will take part in acting, writing, directing and getting behind the camera to bring original scripts to life. The class will focus on acting technique, elevating professional auditioning skills to the next level. The class culminates in a private film screening where we will invite industry members to view the incredible work they've created. This class requires approval from the film department to join.

October 1 (Rosh Hashanah), October 8 (Yom Kippur), December 24 (Winter Break), December 31 (Winter Break)
October 9 (Yom Kippur), November 27 (Thanksgiving Break), December 25 (Winter Break), January 1 (Winter Break)
October 31 (Halloween), November 28 (Thanksgiving), December 26 (Winter Break), January 2 (Winter Break)

- Video & Photography: Video cameras or filming of any kind is not permitted, although Applause reserves the right to film, photograph classes, and share footage and movies on appropriate viewing platforms (including, but not limited to, Applause New York social media and Applause New York's YouTube Channel) and for teaching purposes and publicity.
- All Film Acting students will need to sign a minor release talent agreement prior to the first day of class.
- Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds for the TV Series, Film Festival, and Filmmaker Experience Class.
- Returned Checks: There is a $30 charge issued on each check returned from the bank for any reason
