Next Stop: Saturday Night Live! This sketch class is taught by a professional instructor who has performed on Improv teams at the prestigious Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater, and will teach your child all the fundamentals of sketch comedy. Each week we will play improv and acting games that will teach the basics of improv and how to create detailed characters with the confidence to bring your unique ideas to life on stage. Students will collaborate to write a sketch to be shared with family and friends. Will your child be the next SNL cast member?

This exciting and intense workshop is for the child who is starting to get serious about theater. Each actor needs to make the commitment to work hard and learn everything there is to put on an Off-Broadway show. A Director, Choreographer and Musical Director will provide training in acting, singing and dancing through the rehearsal process of a Musical Revue. Every child, no matter what level, will get lines, solos and features in the show to help prepare them to move up to our Intermediate section. The semester ends with a performance for family and friends!

This exciting and intense workshop is for the child who is serious about theater, and ready to step up to the next level. Continuing your growth from Jr. MT Performance workshop, a Director, Choreographer, and Musical Director will provide training in acting, singing and dancing throughout the rehearsal process.  While more emphasis is put on the audition process in this section, every performer will get lines, solos, and major features in the show. This show will prepare them for our more advanced, full-length musicals in our Advanced section. The semester will end with a fully produced performance with costumes, lights, and sound in a real Off-Broadway theater for family and friends!

This advanced class will take a deeper look into the different improv forms and how to write your own sketches. Students will learn how to put together their very own improv show! Your classmates will become your teammates as you work together to create unique and detailed characters, scenes, and sketches.

Mondays, 6:30-7:30pm
September 20th, 2021 - January 24th, 2022

This exciting and intense 14-week workshop is for the teen who is serious about theater. Each actor must commit to working hard and learning every facet of putting on an Off-Broadway show. A Director, Choreographer and Musical Director, provide training in acting, singing, and dancing through the rigorous rehearsal process. Performers will receive supplemental intensives in speech, posture, MT technique using our network of professional teaching artists. The semester will end with a fully produced performance in real Off-Broadway theater for family and friends! 
In addition to rehearsal time, there will be extra hours featuring:
-Professional headshot session for each student 
-Audition Workshop with one-on-one Agent Meetings
-Additional acting and vocal coachings throughout rehearsal process if needed
