Matthew Nassida (he/they) is a Brooklyn based composer, music director, playwright and performer. He received a BFA in musical theatre performance from Northern Kentucky University and is currently attending New York University for his MFA in musical theatre writing. He has been a professional piano, voice, and theatre educator for 5 years as well as working as a music director, copyist, arranger, and orchestrator on various projects. He is thrilled to be joining Applause and hopes to continue to help students achieve their theatrical dreams.
